$79 an hour
Two hour minimum. $69 an hour Monday through Thursday before 4pm.
Because good work takes longer than one hour, and because setting up once for two is what lets us keep the rate where it is.
The weekday rate exists because the room is empty anyway, and because the people who can shoot on a Tuesday morning are often the ones who most need a room like this.
Everything is included. Lighting, backdrops, props, and the ability to make it look like yours.
336 square feet. Seventeen foot ceilings. Three east-facing windows. One room that becomes whatever you need.
The bones are 1907. Exposed brick, raw concrete columns, and the original structure of one of the first reinforced concrete buildings in the Pacific Northwest. We built into it rather than over it.
THE MOODY SIDE
Deep green and gold. A black velvet headboard under eight gold mirrors, dark bedding, a tufted bench at the foot of the bed. Past it, a black fireplace with gold candles, a leather bucket chair, a cowhide rug, a bookcase.
THE WINDOW SIDE
Brick and daylight. Three tall windows behind floor to ceiling sheers, facing east, so you get direct morning sun and soft indirect light the rest of the day.
THE LIGHT SIDE
Open and warm. A cream couch, a boho rug, a ladder against the brick, a mid century chest under a hanging gold mirror.
Moody, bright, or blank. Same room, same rate, no extra fees.
And when none of that is what you came for, the furniture moves. Pull down white, black, or chroma key green. Roll in a black paneled wall or a textured cream one. Build the set you actually need.
Up to 8 people. Natural wood floors. Lighting provided.

You cannot book real clients without real work.
You cannot make real work without a real space.
And you cannot afford a real space until you have real clients.
So people shoot in living rooms and hotel rooms. They record podcasts in closets. They make music on headphones at midnight so the neighbors don't complain. And the work gets judged against work made in rooms they were never able to get into.
The talent was never the problem. The room was.
